Re: New support group: Lego Anonymous (Was: Re: $300 on Lego in the last 3 days???)

I filled a shopping cart at TRU in a bad chicago neighborhood once also. They had space police, a shuttle launch pad, and lots of other goodies. The interesting thing is that we had to squeeze between these poles to get in the store. I thought that (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.people)

Re: New support group: Lego Anonymous (Was: Re: $300 on Lego in the last 3 days???)

That's strange. For us, I think it was multiple purchases in multiple states in less than 24 hours. I'm really not bothered by it, it makes me think they're on the ball. brian (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.people)

(...) Ultimate (...) I was just going to continue lurking, but I now feel like I've just joined AA or something. I also bought the Falcon and the UCS Tie, and would've bought the UCS X-Wing had I found it. I can't actually afford any of them (which (...) (26 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.people)

  Re: july 4 thing

(...) Seriously, the fireworks will be really really cool, american or not. And, hopefully Todd and Suz will show up -- don't discount them yet! (26 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.people)

  Re: july 4 thing

(...) I'm sure they are, but I probably won't be coming. I was hoping to spend all day there but I was coming for the people, not the fireworks. And anyhow, I'm not feeling extremely patriotic... the 4th is an American holiday per se and I am not, (...) (26 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.people)

  Age limitations

Hey all, I'm posting here to explain my opinion(s) about the age limitation in NELUG. I've talked to many people about my stand on this, especially during and after the WAMALUG Brickfest. Many people there expressed their agreement with what I said, (...) (26 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.loc.us.ma, lugnet.general, lugnet.people) !!

  Members by country and state

Todd, I like the new "by country" sort of LUGNET's member page. Would it be difficult to add a second level "by state" sort to the same link. Perhaps you can display state flags for countries that allow this option. I suppose a country/state/name (...) (26 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.people)

  LUGNET Members by Country?

Now that the membership has almost hit the 400 mark, I was thinking that it would be interesting to see them listed by country. Especially interesting to those of us who don't live in the USA! Jean-Marc (a Swiss in Canada) (26 years ago, 1-Jul-00, to lugnet.people)
