Hello everyone! I've been lurking here for a few weeks, and decided to sign
up. (Check's in the mail, Todd.) Since my member page won't be up for a
while, allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Aaron Hines, and I'm a Lego-holic. I have been since I was fairly
small. Even during my "dark ages", I always HAD Legos, I just didn't get
more. Even when little, I tried to get my friends to trade me their Legos for
my other toys, but they never did. =) Now I'm coming up on my 23rd birthday
(next Wednesday, send me spare stuff! =P), and I spend far too much on them.
(Trying to pay off debt, but hey...can't pass up a Podracing set for $60...or
three Ninja sets for $60...or a technic shuttle for $120, etc.)
Right now, I'm trying to restart my creativity...I've dumped out my collection
3 or 4 times in the past few weeks, only to sit around fiddling with various
pieces for a few hours and give up. I've started writing down good ideas when
I see them on others' websites, but if you have any neat ideas, please e-mail
me with them. I'm interested in space, Star Wars, Technic, and castle
mostly. If I can ever afford it, I'd like to get some Mindstorms sets.
Well, that's all for now. Anyone who wants to talk, send me an e-mail. If
there's anyone here near Modesto, California, I'd like to meet you! (You'd
have to come here, though...I have no car. =P)
