My condolences to you and your family. Even though you never got to show him
the plane, it is evident that you spent a lot of time and care to build it for
him-- I'm sure this care and consideration was reflected in your relationship
with him in other ways. And I bet your dad would be pleased and proud to know
you've shared your creation with all of us here.
