(...) It's not just after handling it that you need to worry about. The acid in your skin will leech trace amounts from the surface, and you'll absorb it through your skin. (...) Yes, always wash your hands after handling solder! (...) I see the melting point of standard solder (63% tin, 37% lead) is 183 deg C. If I held a soldering iron and a reel of solder over an invered brick and dripped molten solder into the (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.mod)
