| Has anyone seen instructions, schematics, plans, rough sketches on napkins, etc. for custom electric LEGO parts? LEGO seems to be getting out of the electronics business, which is a shame IMHO. The available selection is quite limited (and pricey (...) (20 years ago, 12-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.parts.custom)

| If you take a transparent rod and roll it around on some fine grit sandpaper for a minute or so, it will make any light you may show through the rod easier to see from the side of the rod. The process roughs the surface of the rod to make it refract (...) (20 years ago, 12-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.mod)

| (...) I've often wondered (never got beyond that) whether one could use photo-etching to create masks/templates for airbrushing Lego elements. The folks that do face-painting at fairs and amusement parks use re-usable masks to quickly airbrush a (...) (20 years ago, 6-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.mod)
