  Modifying the 6272c01 Electric RC Race Buggy Battery Receiver Unit with Auxiliary Output
 
Has anyone had any experience with doing this? Basically I want to take the innards of one and put it in as small a 'brick' as possible, add a power input to allow connection of external battery box/es and a connector to allow remote connection of (...) (19 years ago, 17-May-05, to lugnet.parts.mod)

I knew all of that (at least in theory), since I've been a model builder since the 1960s (although, back in '67 I was more of a Stick It Together (...) (20 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts.mod)

Norbert, Lots of good info in there! Here's a couple of suggestions for painting/tinting clear parts that I learned from scale modeling: Future floor polish (USA product name) is actually a clear acrylic coating. It is self-leveling (fills minor (...) (20 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts.mod)
