  Modifying the 6272c01 Electric RC Race Buggy Battery Receiver Unit with Auxiliary Output
 
Has anyone had any experience with doing this? Basically I want to take the innards of one and put it in as small a 'brick' as possible, add a power input to allow connection of external battery box/es and a connector to allow remote connection of (...) (19 years ago, 17-May-05, to lugnet.parts.mod)

I knew all of that (at least in theory), since I've been a model builder since the 1960s (although, back in '67 I was more of a Stick It Together (...) Norbert, Lots of good info in there! Here's a couple of suggestions for painting/tinting clear parts that I learned from scale modeling: Future floor polish (USA product name) is actually a clear acrylic coating. It is self-leveling (fills minor (...) (20 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts.mod)

This makes me think thoughts of building a coach to go with my Edwardian-era London and Southwestern Railway station, Stevermer (...) It's especially funny when you realize it says "Batteries not replaceable" and "Try Me!" almost right together... it's like that moment when Wile E. Coyote stops after he runs off a (...) Good information to know. I like the way you replaced the arm with one with a posable hand. One thing I don't understand is why you replaced the head switch, did you break it? Tim (20 years ago, 8-Apr-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.parts.mod, FTX)
