Bricks with pox! One whole box!

I just noticed that all the dk.gray bricks which I bought at the Lego store during BrickFest have got pox. Where the injection mark is, there is a plug like a pen-point bored out of what should be brick. Avast, bricks with bung-holes! Bad cycle day (...) (21 years ago, 21-Sep-04, to lugnet.parts)

(...) Those are two I've wanted to see as well. Especially the 2x2x3 double concave slope. Would we then need double/inverted (gable?) parts to go with these? Seems like they would be useful too. My parts wish list: * A 2x2x3 inverted steep slope * (...) (21 years ago, 6-Sep-04, to lugnet.parts)

(...) Ditto on the 1x5 plates and tiles, and the 33 and 75 degree inside corner slopes. Really, I would like to see all the pieces in the 45 degree slope system come in 33 and 75 degree versions, as well as 45/75 degree inverse slope corners. Also: (...) (21 years ago, 29-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts)

IIRC, the model builders no longer use MEK (although I still do). If anyone has any information as to what the model builders are now using, please let me know. MEK is dangerous and too much contact with the fumes makes you do strange things like (...) (21 years ago, 28-Aug-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.parts)

  Liquid Plastics

Has anyone looked into this for making custom parts: (URL) It looks like pretty good stuff and could be a fairly cheap way to turn out medium-sized batches of hard plastic parts. Of course the tricky bit is making the mold... I haven't thought of a (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts)

I haven't run the prices yet, but could (URL) portend a source of original MOC parts? (URL) the website. It's a cool idea in any case. Dave! (21 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.off-topic.geek, FTX)
