Shane Brinkman-Davis, (unable to post himself,) has asked me to post for him:
he's going to be a team captain for the BrickHeap Wars we're having in two
weeks. If you would like to join his team, there are still a few slots
available. Please contact him directly. His email address is shanebdavis *
shanebrinkmandavis * com (replacing the stars with appropriate email address
symbols.
If anyone else would like to be a team captain, please post your desire on this
list, or email me. Teams need to form ahead of time for this event, and we're
inviting teams from outside SMART to participate as well. Don't be shy! It's not
a huge responsibility to be a team captain - we just need one person to form
each team.
We only have room for so many teams. There's only a day or two left for the team
slots we've reserved for SMART. After the weekend we'll open it to any of the
groups we've invited: if they want to start a second or even third team, we'll
let them. That doesn't mean that more SMART teams can form after that, but it
will be first come, first served.
