The next SMART meeting is just under two weeks away. We'll meet on July 27th, at 2pm, in the Redmond Regional Library (room 2). I'm willing to give a couple of presentations. What sort of presentations does everyone want to have? I'm starting to dig into the internals of the RCX, standard firmware and NQC. (...) Personally I think it's a really good idea. The only question is, who is going to do the presentations? Volunteers are required. Unfortunatly I will not be able to make the meeting next month. I have some ideas about possible improvments for the meetings. For those who went to the SMART meeting on Saturday, I showed a robot frame I was working on ((URL) would allow wheels to be steered and powered at the same time. Today's SMART meeting was a tremendous success. Several dozen people showed up. At least seven people brought robots for the mini-challenge - locating a 100-watt lightbulb near the floor.
