(...) I like what you did with the engines... very cool... Kinda reminded me of the Star Wars blockade runner's engines... C. (24 years ago, 22-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.us.sealug, lugnet.space)

Mindstorm Mall Tour looking for a few good LUGs

A couple weeks back I posted a pretty critical but not mean-spirited (IMHO) critique of the mall tour as it passed near me (reference message Dear Lego n=2518). I was then contacted by Jeff Ardis the tour manager by e-mail. He stated that indeed (...) Sounds like fun! I plan to be a member, but living in Bellingham it's difficult. We're shopping for a new car (we don't trust taking out current one outside the city) and once that's bought I should be able to make it to some meetings, if not all of (...) Hey, Wow, really sorry I missed the meeting (again) as I was doing absolutely nothing on Sat. The Boeing Museum event sounds like a great idea. I've been playing around with some bi-wings and pumping my dad for info. Also, I just downloaded the (...) (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.us.sealug, lugnet.loc.us.wa)

Re: Visit to Wayne Hussey's house

(...) Lindsay, It is from the High Guard system, but beyond what they originally allowed. I think they expected ships up to 1,000,000 tons with a single spinal mount. This one is 20,000,000 with the same spinal mount mounted eight times (which (...) (24 years ago, 14-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.wa, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

Re: Visit to Wayne Hussey's house

(...) That's something! I'm trying to figure out if it's Solomani (probably not!), Zhodani, Vargr, or what...but yes, that is most definitely Traveler-y looking. And all that red! best LFB (who still has a dogeared copy of High Guard in his (...) (24 years ago, 13-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.wa, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

Hi Paul, The large red spaceship is apparently from the game Traveler, and Wayne put in a model of the NCC-1701 as a scale reference. You'll have to ask him if you want to know anything further. ~Mark (24 years ago, 13-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.wa, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

What is that huge red ship in dscn0433 and dscn0434 with an Enterprise-style hip in one of the side bays? Paul Sinasohn (24 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.wa, lugnet.org.us.sealug)
