I should probably likewise point out that I can give out loaner Black Falcons,
Crusaders, etc.  I have lots of Castle guys from all eras.

Just thinking out loud here-- My village is... about 4.5 by 7.5 (as measured
in
32x32 baseplates)... I think our previous ones were roughly 6x10 and 7x7...
and
given the increased number of troops, perhaps we'll want it bigger than those?
Or perhaps the closer range aspect will make them need to be more tightly
packed and need less space? I've got tons of extra green baseplates if need
be,
a few extra brown ones, and 2 more tan ones... Too bad the traditional 32x32
road baseplates would look a little out of place... I KNOW we can scrounge up
those in quantity...

Yeah, but they would (IMHO) really detract from the setup.  I think, beleive it
or not, that not much more than the villiage you already have would be needed
for this battle... after all, while there are lots of troops, I think that the
ranges of the weapons, etc will call for a smaller playing field.  Unless we
get a whole passel of players we'ev never seen at a game before, which I tend
to find unlikely (but not unwelcome!).

For now, anywhere in there (short of thanksgiving of course) is good for me...
Though I'd be strongly inclined to set it up one day and have the next be for
the battle... Also due to driving distance :)

That would be great, I think, if you and Shaun could work it out.  Cutting out
the setup time would probably make playing a lot cleaner (as Shaun and I
discovered during BrikWars 1942).  But it's up to you whether or not you want
to drive for 2.5 hours on two consecutive days... I can't say that I would
blame you if you chose not to. :D

Actually, seeing as I still have almost two weeks of vacation left that I've
been forced to put off taking, I can probably make it anywhere in that time
frame, even if it happened to be a weekday... however, I doubt we'll get many
votes for that :) So you can put me down for either...

Cool!  I will do so.
