Dude, do as you see necc. you will always be welcome, I personnaly never had
a problem with you, I'm fairly new to Lugnet. Also, I had to put down my
desire to build Lego and create Robots for a Year and a Half when I built my
House. It was a sacrifice, a long and hard one, and when it was time to sit
back and enjoy the fruits of my labour, it was a feeling so awesome, I can
barely describe it.
I'll leave you with this.
One day while on a family outing,(I was 8 years old) we all jumped in the
car for a drive up the coast to Monteray (CA). I knew it would be a fairly
long Car drive, so I bought My Lego. I sat in the back seat with my younger
brother and built a space ship. It was cool because when we got to our
destination we played with it on the Sand dunes. When it was time to drive
back home, we jumped into the back seat and started to build again. During
the ride home my Father said "When your 18 years old, I'll bet you $50 that
you'll be more interested in girls than with Lego" I agreed to the bet. So
when I was 18 and had an ABSOULUTLY BEAUTIFUL GIRL FRIEND (infact a
couple)Plus I was Building my first Purpose made Robot that cost $2000
(thanks to my Job as a Supervisor at UPS at the time) I said "Hey Dad
remember 10 years ago when we made that bet? Well, meet my girl Carol and
this is my new Robot!" Dad put his drink down and said, "Well, I'll be!,
Darn you remembered" So I took my girl out on a date with the Money and I
bought another Blacktron set!
I guess what I'm saying here is when someone has a passion, it is always
with them. I never want to be one of those people that says, "Oh I used to
have a car like that when I was young, I wish I had one now!" I want to keep
the important things close to me, but I always do what's necc. first then
it's my turn to settle back down to what I like to do, and that's be
creative and build Lego.
Good luck, Eric
Here is that Robot I was talking about:

Part of Dads 50 bucks is in there, somewhere!
P.S. While working at the Liberty Science Center as a Resident Artist
showing my Lego Robots, I met PLENTY of girls, trust me! Just ask my mom!!!!
Later, how much later is up to you!
