Amy & All,

I put uncompressed TIFF files here...

http://www.michlug.org/lg/michlug.black.on.blue.tiff
http://www.michlug.org/lg/michlug.blue.on.blue.tiff

and compressed (lossless) files here...

http://www.michlug.org/lg/michlug.black.lzw.tiff
http://www.michlug.org/lg/michlug.blue.lzw.tiff

The compressed files are obviously preferable (they're much smaller) but if
the company you're working with doesn't like GIF files they may not like
compressed TIFF files, either.

Thanks for that. I will send both of them, just in case!

Another assumption I made was that if they like TIFF files they must be Mac
people,

Oh no, not more Mac people! ; ) (They had probably the best keychain prices,
and the snazzy LEGO like keychain holder thingees, so that is why I picked them)

so I've encoded them motorola style rather than intell style. I can do
intell files if they need them.

I don't understand this part, but I will forward the info. Thanks again.

If you need to email these, save them from your browser (IE:
rightclick, "save >as source", NS: rightclick, "save image as"). If you
don't have options set that allow you to display TIFF files in  your browser
it'll probably give you the option of saving the image. If it just displays
a broken image icon, try another browser (if you have an alternative). If
you can't get it to display I can email it to you. The uncompressed files
are about 900K and the compressed files are about 70K.

Right.

I can't get to the LTC logo because I'm not on the yahoo list. I sent email
to Larry yesterday requesting an invitation but haven't heard back.

That darn Larry! ; )

If *one* person (Scott?) would email it to gifs@public.atreides.org I could > convert it to TIFF.

OK, I will do so.

Lastly, if they don't like any of the TIFF files just send them the GIF
files. They say they do take them, and it's trivially easy to convert to
whatever format they like, so if they whine about GIF files they're just ...
well ...whiners.

And I will send Amy aftrer them for good measure! : ) Thanks for the effort
Amy, let's see if I can get that Yahoo file here....it is on it's way.

Scott S.
