Hey MichLUGians (MichLUGanders?), I was enjoying looking through the pictures from your display at the Comic-Con and I had a few questions. 2nd Annual Midwest Lego Train Show NILTC is pleased to announce that we will be holding the 2nd Annual Midwest Lego Train Show in Wheaton, IL December 4-5th. (...) Hmm, not sure. MichLUG isn't the only club that ends up getting this treatment. Could be that spotlighted posts get more attention, so maybe it is about letting more people see that it's coming. Good point though, I'll probably hold off for (...) Don't get me wrong--I think MichLUG does some great shows. I've seen the galleries of pics from several of your shows, and I think they're all marvelous layouts.   A windmill and five more shops/houses
 
As I alluded to in other posts, I had a busy weekend. Built 6 new buildings. A Windmill (2 URLs) A unfurnished building with seperate upstairs apartment (2 URLs) And four other buildings, each with their own unique details (5 URLs) Enjoy, comment, (...)   MichLUG to display at the Motor City Comic Con - Castle & Space - May 14-16
 
MichLUG has been invited to display at the Motor City Comic Con for a third time now. We will have a Moonbase layout with 10 regular sized modules and 4 super sized modules. Along with a monorail, many lading pads and ships galore there will be 75 (...) The boarding house needed more space, so after getting approval from the neighboring tailor, they started making additions. Right over the tailor's place.   Instructions for tall CCC Wall
 
Peter Guenther and some other MichLUG members got to talking and decided that we needed some castle walls for our medieval villages. However, the standard calls for walls that are only 8 bricks tall and this was just too short. Peter whipped up some (...) MichLUG was pleased to display at the Curious Kids' Museum for a second year running during their annual LEGO creation contest. This year we assembled displays for four seperate themes. The Space and Aquazone were a little on the small side and we (...) Hi guys, I have finaly received the parts ordered from BrickLink and I am about to finish the third robot. But there is something interesting that I want to say first.
