Re: June 4th Meeting in Monrovia

All is good. Sidebar updated to reflect meeting date. Also, since you are the keeper of the group bricks, it might be nice to get a little free build action going this time around. I've missed that. :) Looking forward to this one! Monrovia in June. (...) (19 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

  June 4th Meeting in Monrovia

I know it's short notice, but I don't think we should go too long without another meeting. So I'm hosting a meeting June 4th at my house. I'll get fold out tables this time so there's lots of table space. As always bring models and such. Food will (...) (19 years ago, 21-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

  Re: Sidebar new feature

(...) Not at all. I love anything that helps increase communication between the clubs. I plan to keep it as a 'rolling' entry - that is, if SANDLUG's event comes up first, they will be at the top of the list. Ideally, this could be expanded into a (...)   Re: Sidebar new feature

(...) Dave, this is a great idea, it should reduce the chance of overlapping event being planned. I hope you don't mind if I steel it for SanDLUG as well. Take care, Mathew Clayson (19 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola, FTX)

  Sidebar new feature

Hello everyone! I've been a bit frazzled in trying to keep the various SoCal group events straight, so I figured adding them to the sidebar for quick reference would be a way to help sort things out. It's called Other Local Happenings and it looks a (...) (19 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

  Re: April Meeting Overview

lol! Great timing this post...I just canceled out my own 'overview' post because of it. Please contact either Scott or myself if you have pictures of this event to share as we're putting it all together for public consumption. For those who are (...)   April Meeting Overview

Due to the LLC event we had a small but good turnout last Saturday. I think we had about 10 members. For those who couldn't come you missed one of the all time best meetings. The location was simply stunning! Here are the high points: The location (...) (19 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

Re: A Grest Star Wars Weekend!

(...) Actualy the kids weren't to bad, but a few that were moving parts around were a distraction. I have 3 kids of my own, the youngest a 3yo boy, so I know how it goes. As it turns out SanDLUG will be holding a mini ISD speed building contest at (...)   Re: A Grest Star Wars Weekend!

(...) You ought to see what "kids" can do. How about a strong kids (younger than 14?) team vs. their non-AFOL parents at a head-to-head full ISD build. Disclaimer: I will probably *not* do this with my son - living in my house after being soundly (...)   Re: A Grest Star Wars Weekend!

Hi everyone! It was a great weekend at Legoland. It was my son's first time. He's 5 and hasn't really been bitten by the LEGO bug. He loves Star Wars, so I thought this might be a good tie-in. It was! He's eat, sleeping and breathing LEGOs. The ISD (...) (19 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.org.us.sandlug, lugnet.starwars)
