Ok people I'm slowly adding info this week. Just for an overview on what • to
expect.

#1 Recycling and development of LUCNY webpage. This will take some a • little
time but hopefully will have the general stuff opened to you all. Just an • FYI
until we figure out what to do for the future is since we lost • www.lucny.org
I'm going to attach LUCNY to my account within College. I will not be able • to
alias a domain name to it so for the time being it will be something like

http://www.oswego.edu/~sardullo/lucny/lucny.html

There isnt anything there but should be soon. I will now open up • suggestions
for what you think is important to the Website.

Links to member pages maybe?

Things I will use. A brief overview and story about us. a generic list of • its
members. The rules/Bylaws(Need to find them). Or at least rewrite them.
including info on how to become a member.

Agreed.

Specialist Members. (this will be a page dedicated for people who have
expertize in a particular area of Lego)

-----------------------

Lucny Membership resposibilities

Since we are slowly coming up on more professional things as I said before • I
would like to offically open up the board for the following areas. For • positions

These positions each have a unique angle to cover what so far we have seen • in
the group.

Obviously, we need someone as the leader. At least in a sense to keep • LUCNY
members up to speed as well as informed on upcoming meetings or future • events.
I have to apologize to Nate, John R, and Kevin. Although we had a GREAT • time at
our last meeting I just didn't even bother with an agenda. For future, • THIS
WILL BE IMPORTANT!!

I would like to vote on this and make it more offical. ( Anyone want the
position) If not, feel free to vote me in. :)

You have four votes from us Wayne!

Levels of Membership.

I was looking at some of the other groups and noticed that not all members
contribute in the same way. In a sense I feel that this might actually • help us
out. I know we all can't get together and some have other ideas. I would • like
to include as many people in our group as possible. Not everyone has to
contribute 1 million bricks, but maybe offer other things like support or • other
resourses to the cause.

Here's some of the ideas.

(Within typical membership)
Builders (Layout and Build Designs)
Specialists (within their field)
Contributors (Money, Blocks, Support, Meeting Locations...)
Other (not sure what else)

Obviously we are all members but how can we each focus are talents further • to
get us to where we wanna go...? Thats the question I ask

Gosh I'm not sure how to answer this. As our basic bricks are very limited.
We here would be Bionicle robot based Builders.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Folding table issue. I will answer this tomorrow. The one I thought we
agreed on was from Staples. However, when I looked via web thats not what • we
found at John R. Place. John what site what that from???

(More to come.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

No once else made any comments about the layout opinions I posted uses 4 • 30x60
tables. PLEASE speak up and voice your opinion on this so we can start • placing
restate.

I said I liked tables 3 or 6, with 6 being the better of the two.

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=17789

From the picts the only one that fails for the trains and takes up to much
space is "tables-3" due to the huge arc that is applied after bridge.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

As for myself, I have decided that I have taken to many projects on for • myself
and need to start focusing down on what I want to dress up. I've posted • several
Project however some of them are going to be scraped until I can get some • more
things done. As for now, I want to look back and focus more on the train • side
and layout as well as some automation. I got some bug that was passed to • me by
John B. and can't seem to shake it off. I guess I haven't really had a
enjoyment of mindstorms until this past week. As for what I have • availiable for
the layout and what will be worked on is in the usual place until moved • over to
the LUCNY pages.  For now the link is
http://www.oswego.edu/~sardullo/projects.html

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking into the next meeting.... (Test layout)

I would like to start considering a meeting time for mockup of first • layout.
However, before we can do that we need to be sure we have:

Tables
Table layout design
Buildings
Tracks
Trains
(Lots of Evaluation)

June is a tough week for me because most of the weekends I have something • on a
Sat or Sun. I will work with the majority though when would be the best • time to
meet.
