Ok, Try this out for a 3T board & robot diagram.

Now for the explanation...
Zone 1: White player has complete & total control at ALL TIMES of this area.
Black player may NEVER enter this area.
Zone 2: Black player has complete & total control at ALL TIMES of this area.
White player may NEVER enter this area.
Zone 3: White player has control of this area under the following
circumstances. Total control at ALL TIMES up to a height of 4 plates. Above 4
plates high white player has control ONLY DURING HIS MOVE. Black player has
control ONLY DURING HIS MOVE.
Zone 4: Black player has control of this area under the following conditions.
Total control at ALL TIMES up to a height of 4 plates. Above 4 plates high
black player has control ONLY DURING HIS MOVE. White player has control ONLY
DURING HIS MOVE.
The central 27 x 27 area is controlled by whichever robot is currently playing a
cube. Each robot must vacate to their respective zone (1 or 2) while waiting
for the other robot to move.
