So, I have a program written for my Tic Tac Toe robot. I haven't tested it, yet, because I don't have a robot. :) The really odd part is that the program is about half the size of the line following program I used last month at Chibots. I still need (...) (19 years ago, 7-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Bryan doesn't know how to post to LUGNET, so he asked me to post this for him... (...) See if this page answers your questions: (URL) (19 years ago, 5-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: recommendations on new programming language for RCX

(...) --snip-- (...) Thanks, everybody for all the suggestions. I'll probably start trying to work with NQC soon. Chris, like you I like Mindscript, but I was at 48 nested ifs, and that was only sastifying the case "if I could win", i.e. I had 2 in (...) (19 years ago, 4-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: recommendations on new programming language for RCX

(...) snip (...) If you know C, then NQC would be perfect for you. It meets the needs you suggested ~IF~ you install it under a brickCC GUI As a big fan of Mindscript, and the guy who programmed a Project X robot with 64 nested if's, I'd say that (...)   Re: recommendations on new programming language for RCX

(...) Waaay ahead of me. I'm still trying to clean up enough LEGO so I have parts to build another GBCm (I really want a good tosser, but I fear I'll need to resort to buggy motors). (...) I don't know enough about Mindscript to help I fear. I can (...) (19 years ago, 3-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

recommendations on new programming language for RCX

Attention programmers (Steve, Brian, Bryan, I'm looking in your direction)--- I'm in need of a recommendation for my next programming language to try. First a little background. I've been trying to program a T3 robot for a week or so now. I knew (...) (19 years ago, 3-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Indy GTX & GBC

(...) In the future, I'd like to do a fancy layout with IndyLUG having several (3 or 4) stations and a few trains. I'll have to draw out what I was thinking, but it includes a non-GBC train, and switches. (I don't remember how much we talked about (...) (19 years ago, 1-Dec-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: GBC group??? (and a sad story)

(...) I'll second that - the stories are great. I can understand the "gunbarrel" problem as well. I made a module that used a flexible paddlewheel (to prevent jamming) to push balls up a curved ramp. Smiling with overconfidence, I turned it on with (...) (19 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: GBC group??? (and a sad story)

(...) No. If it was work, I'd be doing something else. Like I am now. :) (...) You know, when you come up with one slightly interesting idea, suddenly people will line up to be willing slaves. I wish. If only I could say they're MY slaves. But, I (...) (19 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

(...) Wow, that sounds like work! Have we met?? I'm Janey, a slacker, nice to meet you, wink. (...) Yes, Im okay, but I will NEVER do that again, but I'm back on working on a new design.   Re: GBC group??? (and a sad story)

(...) What are you lot talking about. After seeing Daves GBC mods at the hobby show, I went home, and built a perfect ball pump. Its flawless, and VERY strong.   Re: GBC group??? (and a sad story)

(...) This place is as good as any to post GBC questions. You could post to the ITlug forum, but they prefer the posts in Italian. :) I always have to run the page through google translate, type a reply, and run it back through google translate (...)   Re: GBC group??? (and a sad story)

Re: GBC group??? (and a sad story)

(...) Thanks Brian. (...) I actually was too embarrassed my first post to mention I took one to the eye. Holy that hurt... Well it's sort of strange, it still runs, but its very slow, like its being powered by almost dead batteries (and no, the batteries are fine, the other motors work the same as always) (...)
