  tic-tac-toe bots

I know alot of you guys are focusing on Chibots right now but... So I actually felt like building last night and was thinking of tic-tac-toe. We had talked about awarding a time bonus to robots who could clear the board of their blocks after a game. (...) (19 years ago, 3-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: lots of stuff...

(...) Kevin, If you can regulate when the balls come through the machine, something like this would be very fun to watch. The cool part is making it "look" like it could fail at any time, but making it so it actually won't fail... At BrickFest, (...) (19 years ago, 2-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: lots of stuff...

(...) Looks great! (...) I was thinking of something along the lines of a construction site, like in cartoons. The balls dodge jackhammers, fall off high places landing on something safely below, and narrowly avoid swinging beams. It would be fun to (...) (19 years ago, 2-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  lots of stuff...

I have a bunch of cool stuff in the works. First, is a still-in-progress robot, "3X". Here's a preview picture: (URL) designed for outdoor "RoboMagellan" type events ((URL) It's still very much in-progress, but right now it has a few cool parts (...)   Re: Legoworld 2005 & GBC Counters

(...) The module was made by Greg Dykstal, but I can tell you a bit about it. I don't mean to say anything bad about it, but it was a "young" module, without a great deal of testing time. Of course, it was also one of the most complex. So, it ended (...) (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Legoworld 2005

Hi Steve, (...) Wow! very nice display! How is it actuated? How are the balls detected and how fast can the module count them? Philo (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Legoworld 2005

(...) I know what you mean. I did the same at BrickFest... (URL) can really tell how much he loves what LEGO is, and he really seemed to enjoy thee GBC. (...) One of the guys in our club made a counter, with a 4 digit display... (URL) problem is the (...) (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Legoworld 2005

Hello Mario, Steve & all (...) It was a great pleasure to be able to build a bigger GBC, an even greater one to see the sparks in the eyes of children... The consecration came tuesday when I was able to talk about GBC with KKK himself ;o) (...) I (...) (19 years ago, 28-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Another GBC Module

(...) Yes, that's why there's a sumo ring in the middle of my very messy livingroom floor. I'm kindof likeing this minisumo thing - they're, well, "cute". But there's really not a lot of room for the minifig ;-). (...) Sounds very nice - I've not (...) (19 years ago, 26-Oct-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc, FTX)

  Another GBC Module

Getting ready for Chibots... I pulled together a new GBC module last night...needs some reliability tweaking for dropping balls off the lift...oh, and it needs an in box...but it works pretty good for iteration 1 of a new lift...it is a conveyer (...)
