Re: Travel to Bay Area - confirmed 12/4 to 12/15

(...) Well, in a few hours I'll be hopping on the plane. I see the Baylug meeting is in Fremont, and I do see some directions, but directions as to best way to get to Fremont from San Jose would be appreciated (I'm staying at the Residence Inn just (...)   Re: Travel to Bay Area - confirmed 12/4 to 12/15

(...) Ok, my trip is pretty well confirmed now that I will be flying out Monday 12/4 (arriving in the evening) and returning Friday 12/15. I'd love to meet up with folks, and if the Baylug meeting will indeed be 12/9, I'd love to drop in. I'd also (...) (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

  Travel to Bay Area

There's a (strong) possibility I'll be travelling to San Jose for work, either the last week in November and/or the first two weeks or so of December. I'd love to try and hook up with folks if that happens (I see it looks like there's a Baylug (...) (24 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

  The *LUG box

Odd happenings regardig the *LUG box. Last night I got home late, found a pair of packages on my doorstep and brought them inside. I was too tired to deal with anything last night, so I left them alone 'til morning. I was surprised to find that one (...) Okay, I'm suitably impressed. The *LUG box isn't even pieced together yet and already it's listed on the tracking page. Thanks, Tommy! I'll have more info for you later this week. -Dave (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.market.jambalaya, lugnet.org.us.baylug, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.dixielug, lugnet.org.us.gardenslug, lugnet.org.us.gmlug, lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.org.us.sealug)

Granted, our original vision was to see the *LUG box travel up the west coast before going elsewhere, but you can't always get what you want. ;-) If the BayLUG meeting is later that the 11th, GardensLUG will probably be the first stop around the US (...)   The birth of the *LUG box

Hello all! On November 4, 2000, LUGOLA will create the newest jambalaya box as outlined in the following thread: (URL) we have the box put together, we need to know who gets it next. Ideally, it will go to a LUG that's having a November meeting. (...)   Mindstorm Mall Tour looking for a few good LUGs

A couple weeks back I posted a pretty critical but not mean-spirited (IMHO) critique of the mall tour as it passed near me (reference message Dear Lego n=2518). I was then contacted by Jeff Ardis the tour manager by e-mail. He stated that indeed (...)
