Well, I WILL admit I had a mockup of a green line car partially
completed but I just could not get a center pivot that looked good from
the outside, worked, and would at least allow a minifig (turned sideways
so he was only 1 stud wide) to pass through from the front to the back.
So I gave up.
I think I blathered on about how cool it would be to do it at length
somewhere here, though. (1)
Besides, green line is the best way to get to Fenway or to Jillians
(where the waitresses (2) don't know your name and don't want to know
either (3) ) if you're staying downtown.
Late breaking news. Probability that I will be in town on saturday next
for the key day of this extravaganza (Mindfest(4)) has just crossed 50%
heading up...
1 - .trains no doubt
2 - er, waitpersons. But trust me, they ain't hiring for chin stubble
and chest hair there.
3 - a takeoff on a certain show supposedly set in Boston. Like anyone is
actually NICE to you in that town. I once had a bus driver call me a
clueless tourist. Not just a public bus driver, a Fidelity bus driver
who supposedly was there to shuttle Fidelity employees to where I needed
to go, which I (5) was at the time. This after I asked him where he went
because I wasn't sure if it was the right bus or not. Seems like a
reasonable question, no?
4 - Remember the restaurant? This is a song about Alice's Restaurant!
5 - Technically.
