Me too! I used to build with Technic, but haven't for many years.
Now the options available just plain scare me!

I am a bit of a aircraft buff, and I actually did notice the air
vents, but wrote them off as artistic license ;-). I was wondering
about those poor landing gear. Although I didn't actually pick up the
plane, a few calculations in my head put some fairly significant
weight on those puny little wheels, not to mention the rest of the
gear. Do you think they actually survive a landing? ;-)

I'm not a surveyor, but it sounded about right to me. Luck guess, I
suppose. Sure was a ton of plates. If you're going for realism,
however, you have no choice!
