  Re: Parts needed for show

(...) Got 'em. Plain light grey. I'll put them away to bring along on Friday. Robin P.S. I finished my lighthouse island. I got a little carried away, I think. It's, well, rather large. I'm happy with it though. It even has a revolving (working) (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Lego Studio Steven Spielberg Moviemaker set Review

(...) Yes, the $70USD option. (See below) (...) What happens when you play back bad quality postage sized images at full screen res.? They get stretched and REALLY show off the errors... From the tests I've done it's ghastly... I would REALLY hope (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.org.ca.vlc, lugnet.robotics.vc)

Re: Lego Studio Steven Spielberg Moviemaker set Review

(...) The woman demo'ing it at the TRU said she thought there was going to be some ability to use other cameras, but it might require a "bridge". I can't vouch for the accuracy of her information though - she'd been trained only on that software, (...) (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.org.ca.vlc, lugnet.robotics.vc)

  Re: VLC Sign

(...) er, that would be "TLC's LEGAL department" ... ;-) Robin (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: VLC Sign

(...) Always welcome and encouraged! (...) TLC's lego department has stated that basically they don't want ANY images of bricks (or other pieces) in any fan-based logo (or web-site, etc.). They also don't want the name "Lego", but will "allow" it if (...) (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Help!! Airport & Monorail Station needed!

(...) We have one container ship coming but can always use another... Bring it on.. On the test fit friday we should be able to gauge if we suddenly need more... Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (URL) Lego Workshop: (URL) Lego Club: (URL) (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: VLC Sign

(...) Interloper warning... I really like this logo. Except for the geometry being off, that is. You can't see the stud tops to see whether there is a LEGO on them, so I would suggest that you go with correct proportions. Has LEGO actually said you (...)   Help!! Airport & Monorail Station needed!

Hi all, Ugh... I failed to realize how much work I actually have. I think I've bitten off more than I can chew. I cannot build the Airport and Monorail station by this upcoming Friday, so I hope somebody can help with this! If you need the monorail (...) (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  announcement?

We ought to make some kind of general announcement that we're going to be in this show next week. Anyone volunteer? Kevin (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: VLC Sign

I rotated the lego blocks 180 degrees, and I like it a lot better. They look a lot more like Lego bricks, but the geometry is still (intentionally) wrong, studs a little high, etc., so hopefully Lego won't mind too much. It can be seen on the (...) (24 years ago, 5-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: VLC Sign

(...) I agree with you on the bricks. I'm not wild about them either. The problem is that TLC didn't want anything too "brickish", so I tried to do some things that would suggest bricks but look different enough for them. I'll try turning them (...) (24 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

(...) I'll hunt around and see what I can find. I'm assuming light gray, right? Do you still need the plain light grey ramp pieces for the sides of the crossing? I know I've got several of those. Robin (24 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)
