Re: My LEGO catalog finally came! WOW!

(...) Yeah, I noticed the change in exchange rate too... Well, it was only a matter of time before they realized the 0.06 difference, which is a significant amount! So when are we gonna make a huge group order? :) Bryan (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

O Scale Decals for CN Trains

I know Robin and others gave me a couple of links to companies that sell O Scale Decals for CN and Canadian Trains. I've lost the links and do need some. (My CN Engine is coming along nicely) If you guys can post the links again... Thanks Dean (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: A thought about baseplate substitutes

(...) I've noticed that much of the layout is green and I don't think it will be. The industrial area will be gray I'd bet. Dean (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

My LEGO catalog finally came! WOW!

Very generous space for trains! Though I DID notice that if you pay by cheque it's now 1.54. So no savings there. Credit cards come in about the same now. Cheaper if we get it on a good day. (I phoned and CC charge 1.8% on top of the exchange rate) (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Actual Table Height

Dean & Kevin, Can you give me the "exact" height of your table surface from the floor. From the last show, I think I have a height of 35 5/8". Please confirm. I need to figure out the angle and length to cut the sawhorse legs to fit under the doors. (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: A thought about baseplate substitutes

(...) I agree with Dean. I would really like to try hard to avoid having any non-Lego surfaces. There's nothing saying that we can't use raised baseplates in certain locations; a dump or landfill near the industrial area, the belville pool and (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)
