45 Degree Crossing Ready —Derek Raycraft
Well after much sawing, cutting, grinding and gluing, and most of the with Photoshop. :-) I've got a working 45 degree crossing. (URL) not pretty.         Re: 45 Degree Crossing Ready —Ross Crawford
(...) Not bad for a first attempt! I do have one little quibble though - it really needs some guard rail sections opposite each frog. If you look at the LEGO points (switches) you'll see what I mean. Your crossover would probably need 8 such rails. (...) (18 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: 45 Degree Crossing Ready —Derek Raycraft
There are definitely improvements that need to be made. As it is right now this cross over is very hard on train wheels. What you suggest is one of two major improvements that could be made to this cross over. The other is to build up a base that (...) (18 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
