Did you go to Dreamworld?  They have a Vekoma Waikiki Wave Super Flip • (one
of 4 in the entire world!).

Where are the other 3?

Hurricane is playing at SixFlags Mexico, there's another at Lotte World in
Seoul, Korea, and the last one is in Japan, and I can't for the life of me
remember what park that's at.  And of course at Dreamworld it is called
"Wipeout" and it has a wonderful theme to it.

SixFlags Kentucky Kingdom has a Waikiki Wave (unlike the Super Flip, there
exists not a gondola brake so loopings are prohibited), and I got to ride
that one but after making one and a half revolutions it stopped and it was
shut down for the rest of the day.

Mondial also makes three variants of the dual-arm-gondola ride typ:

Supernova:  Their first, it has a long gondola with lap-restraints.  No
gondola brake so no loopings.  Alton Towers in the UK has one for our
British fans.

Rollover: An update on the Supernova, now the gondola has shoulder
restraints and a gondola brake is included.  The gondola can perform
loopings while slanting.  There aren't any permanant Rollovers, they're all
on the traveling fair circuit.

Splashover:  This was custom built for Canada's Wonderland and exists as
"Cliffhanger".  Instead of one gondola, two gondolas rest between forks and
each has its own gondolabrake.  The programmer (maintenence) has the option
to give the riders a real thrill by having the gondolas "play" with each
other during the ride cycle.  Now there is a second Splashover at Lagoon in
Farmington, Utah.

I don't know if Mondial is doing any new permanant rides in North America
for this year.  Canada's Wonderland next year is geting a HUSS Jump2,
though.  It will be a very impressive machine.  Truly the most sickening of
them all.
