Why does it have to be near the university? With all due respect,
exactly how many people does that actually concern? I'm only aware of
two. It seems to me that some place near the 401 would be more
appropriate given that (I suspect) the majority of people hop on at
least one of the highways for their trip home. Personally, I hate the
parking and commuting hassles associated with downtown. I'm sure our U
of T friends could tolerate a trip to Lawrence West, North York Center
or even somewhere on the new Sheppard Line. There's a restaurant at
Baview Village. Not to mention ample ticket-free parking. I'll have to
check it out next time in the neighborhood (it's near my mother's
place and my dentist and pediatrician, so one of them should have me
up in that area in the next little while)
