Another
|thing I would like to see is a more detailed description of each of the
|entries to the competition. This could be posted on the rtlToronto site
|afterwards. Categories like name of builder, name of robot, # of RCX's,
# of
|motors, types of sensors, time in development, etc. Ben, as our
official
|scorekeeper could double as our data collector:)
Rob, i'm indifferent about handing out certificates, or "awards" for
other categories. if someone wants to do it then great. I feel, that
we do this for ourselves any ways, and we all know what we can do. i
can tell you right now it'll go like this:
And the Winners are:
Best drive train -- Iain
Most unique mechanism -- Tie Rob, and Dave
strongest construction -- Bruce
best looking -- Iain, Dave & Rob
coolest robot brought for show and tell -- ??
most number of worm to 24t gears -- Chris
best decoration with town parts -- Calum
most use of non lego parts -- Hiroshi
see, what's the point. :)
:)
AS to the other idea. I like it a lot and it would be easy to do.
I'd bet that Calum could do it up on the web page real easy. actually
make a "sub page" of just isometric shots of the various robot s and a
description with links to peoples web pages.

| Rob sent me an email earlier because he couldn't post. I think this would be a great idea, what does everyone else think? --Calum |This message is for all of the robot builders out there. I have some |suggestions about the next competition. Rather (...) (23 years ago, 28-Sep-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
