Also we should keep people back, so the monkey owner can
move down the ladder with their monkey to catch it if it drops.

once again, this issue rears its ugly head.

how to allow people to watch yet still maintain  a  corridor to allow
contestants near the ladder.

dose anyone in the GTA have access to stanchions?

if you can read this, and work at a BANK, maybe they have a few in
storage, stuck in a basement, if you are a lurker and your second cousin
owns a rent-all place,  if for some reason you post hear and completely
forgot that you grandmother used to own Stanchions are Us.

!!PLEASE!!!

either tell me off line, or post here.

I think a nice polite barrier (like poles and a rope) are a good way to
keep back the mass's yet allow access for Rob to run and try to catch
his  ferris wheel (I mean monkey)

(...) Originally yes, I was thinking of five foot legs (which would raise the stakes), but since Bruce has already built a 3 foot leg unit, I guess we'll just do as you say and put it on a table. I'll be posting Bruce's photos online tonight. Calum (23 years ago, 17-Sep-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
