I don't know if they still have it on-line. I think that was only a limited
time special. I seen the set at Sears (in St. Catharines) and they were
still charging over $150 CDN for it.
I have to agree with Martin Legault that the Duplo train is probably wise to
get at this point with your children so young. I would wait at least 2 years
before getting any of the system train sets, unless you would want to buy
a couple of them now and put them away until they are older. Some other
sets that aren't bad are: (4565) Freight N Crane Railway, (10001) the Legend
version of the Metroliner (Deluxe kit even better!).
My own train series would be another idea if you don't feel like investing
in a "large" train system right away. You choose which cars to buy ... ie
Large Engine with tender, hopper car, flat-bed car, tanker, and caboose for
one train, and the Small Engine and two or three passenger cars for the
other train...the only draw-back to My Own Train, is that you have to buy
all your
own track seperately, and a controller, and a motor for each train engine...
still fun to do...
