We all recall this GREAT post about fluids and RCX's: (URL) just found these new batteries that can be recharged with water or urine. (URL) mind is going to explode. Can we use these in the RCX?   Re: dinner - ay ideas?

(...) Dave, maybe if you spent more time building a robot, and less time figuring out why your tranny is FUBAR, you would have a good robot. ;) ME, im swinging. :) Chris (17 years ago, 13-Sep-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: dinner - ay ideas?

(...) Awww, that sounds like fun! BUT... sadly (for me, happily for others) I'm going to miss dinner this month...(it's my sons birthday... so I have a date with a pizza, a cake, lots of presents and some head to head video game challenges.) See you (...) (17 years ago, 13-Sep-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: swinging bot

(...) Hmm. I just ran out back and tried it, accomplishing "starting" in about 2 seconds. I didn't think it was hard (and yes, the swing was still, and yes, I didn't touch anything). I agree it's a very good game, however. And for my next trick, (...) (17 years ago, 23-Aug-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: And there's the books I just finished reading...

(...) Never read the others. "Enders Game" was my favorite, even if it had had nothing but Battle School and the zero-G "capture the flag" scenes. Not only is it an example of true 3-D thinking on a book (rare enough... ever wonder why the Kligons (...) (17 years ago, 17-Aug-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

And there's the books I just finished reading...

(URL) Enders Game (which was brilliant, btw), Xenocide was my personal fav. of the series. I found that the Peter Wiggin/Bean books were more to do with politics and war (much like Bourne movies) and the Ender series to be more sci-fi--especially (...) (...) I haven't added a name yet, it's hard to pick one. Just thought of "The Swing's The Thing" this evening; Google pulled up a lot of golf references, so it must be kid-safe, right? Cheers, Wayne. (17 years ago, 16-Aug-07, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
