Don't confuse with 'busy with life' with 'soft'. I'll still put up rtl 'bot
builders against, well, anyone else (and i'd even include Bruce in the rtl
category if he, y'know, actually showed up to a 'bot event with
something--something about putting one's money where his or her yip is...)
I'm not saying that we're the 'best of the best' and everyone else suxors--I'm
saying we should be proud of what we've done and if others start yipping about
'what have you done lately?'--that gets nowhere with me.
Right now I could make a list of almost *every* rtl member having 'outside the
hobby' distractions, which, again in my little opinion, are far more
life-important than building things with LEGO. For me, LEGO has always been a
Hobby--that means it isn't my job or my life--but my hobby in my spare time.
Spare time is a little scarce right now--probably painting itself pink and
hiding behind some SEP field somewheres...
All this said, I know that a few rtl friends are building non-rcx related stuff
that's completely inspiring and will add 'wow!' factors to 'hey--rtl is much
more than just exceptional 'bot building!'
work calls--may post more later
