If you're going to use the LEGO capacitor....

You might as well use it in style-- (URL) YouTube vid in which I connected the LEGO capacitor to a 9v motor and dropped it on the 854 go-cart chassis Yes it wasn't the original blue 854--I wasn't willing to put that one in harms way :) Anyway, (...)   Re: Dinner this Friday?

(...) I'm unfortunately out of town, and seeing as people just finished Hobby Show and will be heading into Train Show next weekend (or FLL, for that matter) I figured we'd just can it. I just didn't want to advertise a meeting where I wasn't there, (...) (18 years ago, 9-Nov-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Dinner this Friday?

I'm available for dinner too, and this Friday makes the most sense since the following weekend is the train show. All us train guys are going to be busy preparing for the show or loading in. I'm still not sure if it's a Friday evening load in or a (...) (18 years ago, 9-Nov-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Pneumatic compressor

Going from this compressor from CSSOH (the guru of pneumatics)-- (URL) was using an RC motor to power 1 mini-pump. I used it (slightly modified) for running my new 'steam' engine, 'Big Blue'-- (URL) issue is, as pointed out by CSSOH, the cylinder (...)   Re: Hobby Show GBC vid..

Neat video, neat modules. I like how the stair lift biases them left and right (how? Just a tilted long tile on top?), and the tilting lift is really nice (and fast) as well. That's one of the better implementations of that I've seen (I need to make (...) (18 years ago, 6-Nov-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
