After a brief vacation from this hobby, 'cause i was busy with other things and all... So I'm slowly getting back into it--balancing my appreciation for the brick with, well, other stuff... (...) Is it a reed switch? (...) 5 minute epoxy. Much easier to control that hot melt glue. I just helped my daughter make a nature collage, and there were hot melt glue string everywhere... (...) It is--two metal leaves inside a vacuum (supposedly) (...) I'm finding that the sensor doesn't react to the magnet until the magnet gets close to eitehr end--so the sensor has to be pretty much centered between the rails for the magnet to pass (...)
