I ran into this problem as well. I've been building with a tape measure
permanently extended to 12 inches on the table ever since. I think I can make
the 10 high stack...but you'll have to decide between:
a) grief of building double wide stack
b) chancing it with say 8 blocks
c) chancing it with the 12" rule (and if anyone is anal about it)

Crap, that's a loophole. If should read unique coloured blocks in your robot,
not including your own. Otherwise, you can build a shoebox. If no one objects,
I'd like to close this loophole, I think the spirit was unique coloured blocks
not including your own.
Hrm, though if we leave it in, I don't even need to finish building that
cannon...! Can I fix this to say "unique coloured blocks not including your
own?"

| (...) I worked a little more on my cannon this weekend, shrinking its horazontal size significantly. Also increased it's power. I've also build my adder subtractor base.
