WOW dave, it would seem we are following the same paths.
I built a Kilough Platform, it was nice, had great "plans," then, poof.
I discovered that it would not take the weight of my EOAT, or the 6
Transfer Openings.
So, I, like you, have opted for a A/B skid steed bot, but wanted to
"jazz it up" so I built my first ever Adder Subtracter.
Let me tell you, ADD/SUB's are a "strange" beast. It took a while to
"get it" but once i saw it working, it does track a straight line.
heck, my original code that I posted with my prototype some months ago,
slotted right into my platform and "worked"
AS WELL, with a 12" SQUARE bot, i can still get my 6 TO's around the
rim, heck, i could put 8 if i wanted too. but I am leaving the "front"
for the LX sensors and the EOAT. (1)
Chris
1. which is SO SIMPLE its not even funny. (no batterys, NO RCX, and
only 3 moving parts)

| (...) K' this is just creepy.... I wanted to try something other than a straight A/B skid-steer and also put together a adder/subtracter drive platform I've been using for testing light sensor positioning, etc. (URL) This was before I added more (...)
