I don't think there really is a better term. I call them flower mosaics, but
that's basically the same. Anyway, to answer you question, I built them.

Hmmm, that's a neat idea, and might pose some interesting building challenges.
Not sure if I'd ever get around to doing it, but it would probably be cool to
see.

As I travelled into work this morning I was thinking that technique could be combined with a RCX driven clock to reproduce the world famous Niagara Floral Clock (URL) that I drive by daily. I (...)
