d) Do you want the U-turn, or just a drag race straight? (Yes/No)
No U turn, but drag race should go from one end to other and back again

By U Turn I mean, go to one end and return, versus drag race, which would be
straight along, stop before a line/wall etc.

1. Start method is manual based on a "go" from the judge/timer.  I don't want to
preclude any solution with a IR command.

Preclude - I think you mean you don't want to condsider using the IR, right? Preclude
means you might actually do it, which means the start is automatic, not manual.

I don't want to preclude any type of solution to the game by asking users to
start with an IR command.  So if someone can do this mechanically, I don't want
to prevent them from doing that because they need to have some sort of IR
receiver.

PS, where are you in Germany? I'm leaving for Munich today for a vacation with
one of my sons!

Berlin.    I've done London, now all I need is Belfast.

I take it you're not having lots of fun....

I spent 12 hours in Berlin on Saturday, seeing the sights.  It was pretty good.
Then I flew to Copenhagen on Sunday to hang out with a friend.  The rest of it
has been basically working in a lab outside of the city. They're very nice here,
but it's still work.

Calum
