NO, the metroliner is a ~BAD~ set. STAY AWAY from all train stuff like the plague!!!! you'd be better off spending your hard earned $$ on a set that will ~DO~ something. oh sure, others will tell you that a motorized layout can do(?) something. but (...) (...) Rob, This tiny bit of encouragement (challenge) was all I needed to set out building a Connect Four robot using only electronics from an RIS. I came up with the idea before rtl15, and almost converted my second "rnd-7" robot to use this method (...) (20 years ago, 1-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
