Bottom line is that the 'bot is very stable, moreso when you put the tires
farther away from each other.  And AB steering, as far as I can see, is the
only way of doing it.


well, between the time i made the post and now i created a quick 4 motor
4 wheel design and to my surprise it worked.  the A B steering is
acceptable.  there is some skitter, but not too bad.

Thanks, I'll try putting distance between the motors
