Actually, it's funny you mention this... I was trying out a simple chassis the other day, and I had two identical parallel gear trains.. but my robot was still turning, ie: one was a lot faster. I finally figured out the problem: one was built using (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
