  Re: rtlToronto22 Ideas?

(Sorry, I'm just jumping in here to post, I didn't see a good part in this thread to hop in at...) But my question is, like - how do you program for tic tac toe? How did people figure out how to program for Project X? That's what I don't get. I (...) (18 years ago, 7-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: TTT - R22 - ball board

(...) One of the ideas we've always had around was a ProjectX2, with a much larger gameboard, one where software could have an edge on hardware, such as optimizing movement routes, storing blocks (or in this case, balls) in a magazine, etc. (...)   Re: TTT - R22 - ball board

(...) No wonder they're so blurry - didn't your mother ever tell you you shouldn't put the entire digital camera in developer fluid, just the memory card? Actually, I like this idea - using the small objects, there's the potential for a lot more (...) (18 years ago, 7-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) I did actually use that for the first hundred odd pieces I needed (thanks to Kevin Salm)...it's just now with the crunch to BF, I need them faster. (...) (...) ya know.... there is this place.... called BRICKLINK... sec, let me dig up the URL for you. (URL) the GUI is bad, but it sure does have a lot of parts. then, when you find the part you need, you can PAY for it with this other service... (...) (...) Hi folks, Now I'm looking for another part: (URL) need four of these in black. Anyone have any they'd like to sell? Thank you to DaveK and Oliver for finding the octagon for me! Calum (18 years ago, 6-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  TTT - R22 - ball board

this is a quick mock up of a basketball/soccer ball game board for a ttt r22 game. (URL) taken with a 640x480 digital cam, and processed in a bath of developer fluid. Chris (18 years ago, 5-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Looking for a part...

Does anyone have one of these they want to sell to me? (URL) need it in white...or dark grey new or old. Calum (18 years ago, 5-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto22 Ideas?

(...) Yeah, good point. I forget that, as I was one of the few (was I the only?) person who built a robot that *did* care about the color of the blocks. In the original plan, we had two other rules or guidelines: (a) white goes first, and (b) (...) (18 years ago, 5-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: rtlToronto22 Ideas?

(...) Yes, touch sensors can be used, in fact none of the 3T robots that I am aware of actually used light sensors to directly detect the color of the blocks for tic-tac-toe (some used light sensors indirectly). Of course, you don't actually have to (...) (18 years ago, 4-Aug-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
