(...) It's easy to create software, it's hard to support it ongoing. Both from a development standpoint as well as actual product support. I've seen it from personal experience. (...) I'm all for cool fast UNIX hardware. Hell, I had an Indy R4600 on my desk back at Nortel and a NeXTstation Turbo at home. I own the Apple Industrial Design coffee table book. (...) But you still have a PC. Being a Mac use since '93, I bought a used PC laptop that I devote 100% to Mindstorms porgramming and LEGO Studios stuff (I know... (...) I was actually thinking about it too - the next computer I get (probably a laptop sometime next year) might be some sort of mac thing.
