  Re: Stuff!

(...) This sounds like so much fun. Not only do you get to play with Lego, but you get to be the knight in shining armour too! (...) *Jealous* (...) Well, I could do that every day at work if I wanted to, but I'm sure I would get some wierd looks :) (...) (20 years ago, 16-Sep-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Brick sorting and 4L Ice cream pails

(...) I'm using Plano (various types) for individual part sorting but for the larger containers I'm using two free types: -3033/4107/4400's for bulk pieces (ie, 1xN, 2xN brick). They're not free, but they do come with every tub of pieces, and I've (...) (20 years ago, 15-Sep-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Brick sorting and 4L Ice cream pails

G'Day I find you need to 'haunt' various $ stores, once in a while you can come across fairly large containers for a buck. Cheers Oliver Play well! or rather Sort Well! "Rob Antonishen" <rob.antonishen@gmail.com> wrote in message (...) (20 years ago, 15-Sep-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

<snip> (...) To save my waistline, I could go for 10-15 more, but that's about it. Other than that, see y'all on Friday Dave K (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Brick sorting and 4L Ice cream pails

(...) For large volume items I use 3033, 4107, ect bins. For mid volume items I use Sterilite 4 quart containers from Walmart. They run between 1 and 2 dollars. They stack well, fit perfectly on narrow and wide IVAR shelving, being shallow they are (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Brick sorting and 4L Ice cream pails

I was at Dave K's a couple of weekends ago and saw he sorts out his bricks (mainly) using 4L square ice cream pails (like Chapman's comes in). I like this, because they are a nice size, and fit very well on shelves (as they are square). Now most of (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Trip Report: PaB at St Jacobs

(...) Naa. It had to fit in my carryon. (...) Yes. That's what I meant when I said Billund, sorry for any confusion. The large one is much larger. (...) I'm with you there, even this bigger one is no fun. A trick I was shown is to cut the sides of (...) (20 years ago, 14-Sep-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Trip Report: PaB at St Jacobs

(...) Man if if that was the price I would have filled every bag they had. Well maybe that's what you did, you're just not telling us. :-) I'm guessing someone made an error in the bag selection because that's a small bag for the by weight pick a (...)   Re: Trip Report: PaB at St Jacobs

(...) Bummer. Well, I better not tell you what I actually paid for that bag at Discover Mills, then. (1) I still liked the store though, if only because it's all LEGO but has a different take on how to do an all LEGO store than the corporate vision. (...) (...) that bag. It's not even as big as a typical sandwich zip lock bag. I would guess it holds less then a quarter what that bag holds. The interesting thing is the small bag isn't much smaller then the large bag. I know some people have suggested (...)   Re: Trip Report: PaB at St Jacobs

Calum: Is the large bag at the St Jacobs store the same size as this one: (URL) is it some different size? The comparision with a large cup is rather striking.
