  Stephen Harper's Hair

Anyone notice that Stephen Harper's hair looks plastic? Everytime I see him on TV I get a mental image of him as a giant talking minifig... -Rob. (20 years ago, 2-Jun-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  More C$

(...) Rob, This tiny bit of encouragement (challenge) was all I needed to set out building a Connect Four robot using only electronics from an RIS.   Re: references for studless construction and Mindstorms?

(...) I too would like such a reference - sadly, at this point the best I've found is looking over (more often, building) stock LEGO studless designs. The small 'dozer Technic model that was released last year was a very nice education (for its (...) (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

  rtlToronto photos in AFOLs comic

As most of you know I've been working on the public verson of my "AFOLs" comic, and Calum gave me some pictures from various events to be used in the book.   references for studless construction and Mindstorms?

Since playing with some of the newer Technic sets (and some bionicles) I am realizing that there can be significant advantages to studless construction...a high strength to weight ratio being one of them... Any suggested references for getting (...) (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.technic)

Re: Picked up a 8475 on the weekend...

(...) Anyone up for some sort of live3 competition again? Maybe this time race cars? We'd need an indoor area that would be pretty large. Calum (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
