as you may have seen in previous posts, parlugment, ottawa’s lug, participated
in railfair on october 15-16. as part of the group, my contribution to the
layout was mostly restricted to a beach area opposite the port. it’s all right,
i didn’t mind being put at the end of the layout, all by myself, really i
didn’t.
the beach layout included 4 beach homes
| | these four separate mocs were tied together with a large sand dune, public beach with change room/snack bar, sea wall and private beach area.

many thanks to fellow parlugmenter jeff brundige who populated my beach area
(thank god for classic space figs with yellow legs) and created many tiny
details to complement the beach front, including the diver and diving raft, the
windsurfer, the cooler with cold drinks and the sea turtle.

while minifigs are usually not part of my mocs, i made an exception with
| | lawnmower man. many thanks to nelson yrizarry for the inspiration re the uncut grass.
