G'day, Welcome to the group. As a way to get to know everyone, would you be able to complete a roll-call [search the local/australia group for "Australian roll call", and reply, after having removed the responces, and adding your own] so that we can (...)   Re: Brad's "promise"...will it affect us?

(...) Nup, my money is on it being nothing whatsoever to do with anything Australiawise. At all. In this context read "everyone" as "everyone currently serviced by a real attempt at Lego retail" It'll probably be new parts to bulk order. On the (...)   Brad's "promise"...will it affect us?

Just curious...how many people here think that Brad's promise of : "I'll be posting by the end of this week. And it'll be news that I think everyone is looking forward to." will have any effect on Australia [remembering how many complaints it took (...)   RE: Australian Lego quiz

I think the 5 year release life would be a good hint for today...Stuffed if I know what sort of hint to give tomorrow, though. [Maybe its original or final RRP, or even an approximate piece count [with a 50 part range]?] I will say this though, (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

(...) Haven't seen these there. I can't remember if they were and have sold out or they never had them. I got mine from the toyland downstairs, I agree it's an ace set.   Re: RRP's [was Re: Catalogue/order list discrepency]

(...) Is <set:5921> still there James? I was salivating over BigW Macca's fantastic range, but I couldn't spy that neat little Research Glider anywhere. New fig and the sweetest collection of flora and fauna since <set:5905> . (...) Any thoughts on (...) (24 years ago, 21-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Paul Baulch <paul@vic.bigpond.net.au> wrote in message news:FzI16M.4u9@lugnet.com... Yeah, I suppose the big problem would be what to use those legs for - there's not much else one can use them for, except legs. What price is on the set? 70% off (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Mark Harrison wrote in message <399CE47A.D9D02D5C@o...net.au>... (...) That'd certainly be true of the big chains that order multiples of the set. After only a couple of months on the shelves at TRU they put the 8448 supercar at $165 or something (...) (24 years ago, 18-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.au)
