RE: Formal Lugnet memberships from Aus...

(...) Just a minor note...I believe Larry is slowly getting ready to get out of factoring [I seem to remember August being mentioned in connection with this], so this avenue won't be open for much longer. Also, as he is currently touring europe, he (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

(...) I sent him a USD money order. You get these from your local post office. From memory they cost about $6. The exchange rate they use to convert the USD is a bit bizarre - sometimes I have done better than market, more often than not they sting (...)   RE: Formal Lugnet memberships from Aus...

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but the reasons I haven't joined is that I had intended joining this year [last year I was at uni and didn't have all that much extra cash] and had forgotten. [plus getting $US is extremely expensive from a (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Formal Lugnet memberships from Aus...

Hi all, For those Aussie's amongst us who have joined Lugnet formally (paid the membership fee) a couple of questions... How did you go about paying? Was it a hassle? Is there an easier, cheaper way? What amount did you end up sending (unless you (...) (24 years ago, 27-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Evening gang, This being an org and an au etc, and open to the possibility that there are behaviours considered appropriate here that might fall foul of the aesthetics of other more advanced beings in other more advanced places, is there any chance (...) Yes, Peter's going to blighty and that's <<expletive indicating passionate displeasure deleted>> irritating.
