Re: When rare pieces become common!

I know what you mean. There is a guy on ebay named Kevin Wilson, who looks like a great international trader, with some really good parts, but always in huge lots - 50 cups, 20 spanners, you know the kind of thing. I'd love to bid on something of (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Next meeting Venue

(...) The prices were per hour regardless of the number of people (as long as the venue's capacity isn't exceeded). So I'd guess that it's in our interest to get more people along to reduce the costs, confirmed attendances anyhow. Lets play (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd, lugnet.org.au)

I'm guessing these prices are per head? Maybe this brings us back to where Peter and I seem to be, which is that his or my place might be sensible, in terms of space, parking, facilities etc. re (URL) (and replies) Peter and I are content to take it (...)   When rare pieces become common!

Hi Everyone, I just got an email from ebay saying I won an auction lot of 300 grey taps. About 2 years ago, I bought a 5590 Whirl n Wheel from a guy in the UK and when it arrived and I built it, I found it was missing two of these grey taps. I (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Brace yourselves, my guess at the cost was off by heaps. There are meeting rooms inside Parramatta Town Hall with tables/chairs that are for 20/30 people size, the rates are $13 during the week and $17 weekends. Parramatta Town Hall is not ideal (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Big sets for auction in Aus!

Hi, These aren't my auctions, but I thought that the people here might be interested. These are auctions for a 5571 and a 8880. These are expensive sets to get from O/S, so you might like to bid on them here, and avoid the high shipping cost, and (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)
